Planned Parenthood’s Lies

Our friends at Massachusetts Informed Parents look at the truth about Planned Parenthood and CSE.

"CSE is a marketing tool to sell sex to kids, replete with double-speak, conflicting messages, and strategies for convincing school officials, students, and even parents that their brand of explicit sex education is needed. It is meant to sexualize youth and create Planned Parenthood customers. Full stop. "

Planned Parenthood’s Lies and Their Marketing Strategy to Hook Your Kids on Sex

Planned Parenthood lies. And that is how they convince the school board members in your district that they must use pleasure based, graphic Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) curricula in your child's school.

Planned Parenthood says that most kids are having sex and there's nothing that can be done to stop it, so we need to teach them how to do it safely. They also say that Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) education programs don't work. But is this true? **Here are some quick facts:

1. Among 15-17 year olds, 69% of boys and 72% of girls have never had sexual intercourse.

2. Among 15-17 year olds, 52.4% of boys and 60.3% of girls have never had any sexual contact with the opposite sex, which includes sexual activities that are not limited to sexual intercourse.

3. Between 1991 and 2017 the percentage of high schoolers that never engaged in sexual intercourse increased by 32%.

4. Compared to their peers, students in SRA (Sexual Risk Avoidance )education programs are more likely to delay sexual initiation, if sexually active, more likely to discontinue or decrease their sexual activity, and no less likely to use a condom if they initiate sex. Like I said, Planned Parenthood lies. Most kids are NOT having sex. And twenty-five research studies of SRA (Sexual Risk Avoidance ) programs show significant behavioral changes in improving teen outcomes. SRA works.

Here's something else to consider... if Planned Parenthood really just wants to keep kids safe from STIs and pregnancy and that is why they insist CSE must be taught in school, then what's with all the instruction on how to make sex pleasurable, the erotic talk on how to make using condoms sexy, and the asserting of sexual rights and right to sexual pleasure for children?

If they really want to protect kids why don't they teach a public health prevention model of delaying sexual debut, which has been shown to significantly reduce risk for teens? CSE is a marketing tool to sell sex to kids, replete with double-speak, conflicting messages, and strategies for convincing school officials, students, and even parents that their brand of explicit sex education is needed. It is meant to sexualize youth and create Planned Parenthood customers. Full stop.

CSE isn't healthy sex education. It's grooming. STOP CSE in schools. Be equipped to protect your kids!
