Olympia knows and cares more about safety needs of our kids than we do.
That’s essentially what they told us when they ignored thousands of our emails and phone calls asking our elected officials NOT to pass CSE- the pornographic, pleasure driven method of teaching sex ed.
Now Inslee has lowered the restrictions on the people hired to watch our children while those of us considered essential work our jobs. The Governor wrote a proclamation removing the fingerprint background check requirement for those given unsupervised access to children (including caregivers and foster parents) and he made this change because- get this- the agencies who perform these checks are closed during COVID
Uh, isn’t Inslee the one who has the power to declare them essential? I don’t know about you, but I think it is absolutely essential that anyone who is given unfettered access to children undergo thorough background checks.
It seems to me that the same people who insisted my children be subjected to a perverted version of sex-ed are now opening the door for potential perverts to access our kids. But what do I know... I’m just a parent.
