Role Play Teaching Children to Consent To Sex

Underage children learning to consent to sex--that's what "affirmative consent" is.

It's endless role-playing in scenarios where the kids have typically known each other a short time, may have already engaged in sex, maybe drink, watch porn, and of course have conservative parents who never talk to them about sex.

One even has a girl go to the family doctor for birth control pills, only to have him shake his head at her and say, "I thought you were a good girl." The stereotypes are endless.

The message is parents can't be counted on. Normalizing underage sex is the result.

And of course, the majority party rejected an amendment that would have prohibited it. See the rejected amendment here http://lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/.../5395-S.E%20AMH%20CALD...
