Why would the majority party reject an amendment that would have afforded non-English speaking parents the ability to review the curricula so they too can understand what their school intends to teach their children?
That's not very equitable.
The bill says that there is, " no Legislative intent..." to have Comprehensive Sexuality Education topics integrated into other classes and lessons.
But that doesn't ban it from happening.
If they truly intend to honor the opt-out, why did the majority party in Olympia reject this amendment?
Hint: They don't intend to.
