In their, 'Happy, Healthy Hot' brochure written for youth with HIV, Planned Parenthood tells young people that drinking or using drugs when they have sex is their choice.
That's because their method of teaching sex, Comprehensive Sexuality Education, shy's away from anything that could be seen as "shaming". If one kid might do it, they don't want them to feel like they are making bad choices, so they help them make bad choices more safely...er, something.
But they're constantly saying that we need their sex-ed method to keep our kids safe from potential abuse situations. Does ignoring statistics like those from Alcohol.org, and taking an "anything goes" approach to alcohol and drug use during sex sound like they're helping kids stay safe?
